EbLens is closing. Its Southcoast locations have started discounts on sneakers and more.

EbLens, a streetwear retail chain with 31 locations across the Northeast and three in the SouthCoast, is closing all of its stores, an employee at the company's Torrington, Connecticut, corporate office confirmed.

EbLens has locations in the South Coast Marketplace in Fall River, the Dartmouth Mall and Fairhaven Commons.

The chain sells affordable sneakers, hats, activewear clothing and more, with brands that include Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Champion, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and the North Face.

On Tuesday, EbLens announced on its Twitter and Instagram accounts that every item in its stores is on sale in every department, with discounts of 10% to 30%.

According to its corporate history, the store was founded in New Britain, Connecticut, in 1949, and is named after founders Ebner Glooskin and Leonard Seaman.

The corporate office has not confirmed a timeline for store closures. EbLens has locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey.
