By now, we're well into the new year, and, chances are, if your resolution had something to do with improving your overall health, adding exercise to your daily routine is a great first step you may be working on. The reality is that many of us don't have the time—or desire—to go to a gym, especially in the midst of a global pandemic. That's why stationary exercise bikes are seeing a major upswing. Lucky for fitness fanatics, the Echelon Smart Connect EX3 bike offers some incredible features, as well as access to live, on-demand workouts. Best of all, QVC is offering a great deal on this bike, along with a three-month membership to the Echelon Fit app.

Listed at $1,039.98 for the bike alone at Echelon and valued at $1,099 with the app membership, this exercise bike is now down to $999.98 here, giving you nearly $100 in savings. It's up for grabs in black or white, plus, it has a 32-level silent magnetic flywheel that simulates inclines. The classes are a breeze to sign up for, too: Just download the app to an Android or iOS tablet, sign up for the free trial, then mount your tablet in the bike's secure holder to follow along with workouts. Additionally, this bike supports up to 300 pounds, and, according to buyers, is super durable, too. You can pedal in an intense spin class or give it your all during a vigorous workout.

Although we haven't reviewed this bike yet, we have tested another a similar model from Echelon, the EX-5 (from $1,239.98). We found it to be the closest option to a Peloton bike (from $1,895) without having to pay the high price of one. In addition to being much cheaper than a Peloton (we're talking a price difference of roughly $895), our reviewer also loved the adjustable seat and handlebars, which can suit riders of all heights, from 4-feet-5-inches to as tall as 6-feet-11-inches. There are also foot cages on the pedals that allow you to wear regular sneakers if you don't own clip-on cycling shoes. While the EX-5 has a larger built-in screen, the EX-3 has a secure holder to keep your tablet in place.

Additionally, our reviewer loved the Echelon app classes, especially because there are options for beginners, pros and everyone in-between. She found the courses to be fun and engaging, while another tester said that her morning workouts flew by. Our second tester also appreciated the useful stats that appeared on the screen while riding, including cadence, resistance and output. While assembly is required, two people were able to put it together with ease.

There are scenic rides and other exercises that don't involve the bike in the app as well, from yoga and pilates to boxing and weights. After the three-month trial, a subscription is $39.99 per month (you can also pay for a year upfront at $399.99, or save $99.99 if you lock in for two years at $699.99).

Echelon bikes even allow you to workout virtually with friends! This feature is especially awesome if you haven't had a chance to head back to the gym just yet. You can also log in on multiple devices and connect your fitness tracker to collect info about your progress, too.

The bike also comes with free standard shipping, so you can quickly join the brand's growing community and start getting fit with trainers and friends—all without ever leaving the house.
