Echo Park Lake Reopens After Cleanup, Relocation Of Unhoused Residents

Echo Park Lake reopened to the public Wednesday, two months after being closed for repairs following the removal of about 200 unhoused residents.

- Echo Park Lake will reopen to the public today after undergoing $600,000 worth of cleaning and repairs. It comes after a three month long process of placing nearly 200 homeless individuals into transitional housing. Many of the Echo Park Lake placements were made to Project Roomkey hotels.
