Echosmith's Graham Sierota Returns to Social Media Following Travis Barker Controversy

Graham Sierota, the drummer for Echosmith, is back on Instagram after the controversy surrounding his interactions with Travis Barker's underage daughter caused a firestorm for the star.

"Today is a new and amazing day. Love you guys!" the 20-year-old musician wrote Friday on Instagram.

The caption was posted alongside a photo of Sierota smiling while wearing an all-blue outfit.

As we reported, the Sierota family announced to fans that Graham made a mistake when contacting 13-year-old Alabama Barker and inviting her to a BBQ at his home, and blamed the social misstep on his autism diagnosis.

"As a child, Graham was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder," they said in a statement, adding that Graham has, "has difficulty understanding social cues."

The Blast first reported that Blink-182 drummer Barker said he was "disgusted" after finding out that Sierota had contacted his daughter, and labeled the move as "predatory" behavior.

However, Sierota quickly apologized, telling us, "I had invited Alabama to my parents’ big family BBQ along with many other people, and it wasn’t until she responded that I realized her age at which point I apologized to her."

He continued that, "I’m really sorry and feel very badly about this. I didn’t realize she was a minor and assumed she was my age. I made a careless mistake and this is a big lesson for me. I would like to apologize again to Alabama, her dad Travis, and her family."

He had also made his IG page private, but reverted back to public on Friday when he made his first post since the incident.
