It's that time again for East Carolina fans.
The Pirates' storied college baseball program will try again to make its first College World Series this weekend, starting with Friday's Game 1 of the Greenville Super Regional vs. Texas.
The Pirates (45-19), seeded eighth in the NCAA Tournament bracket, have won 21 of their past 22 games, and are playing a super regional in their home stadium for the first time.
The Longhorns (45-19) are the No. 9 seed and blasted their way through a home regional last weekend in Austin. They are scored as a slight favorite to win Game 1 today.
