Ed Sheeran has revealed he is filming a tell-all documentary about his decade-long music career.

Since bursting onto the music scene the Shape of You hitmaker has enjoyed dizzying success including five number one albums and 10 number one singles.

The 31-year-old explained that his exciting new project will explore all aspects of his life, both on and off the road, as he continues his Mathematics tour, which began in Dublin in April and won’t be finish until 2026.

He shared: "We are shooting a documentary at the minute about my life and there was a big conversation about what we include.

"As it is honest . . . there is no point in putting something in if there is something detrimental to my life. It is a very fine line, it is why I live in Suffolk and not in LA.

“My life as a celebrity is turned on when I am in New York, but at home I am a friend, a dad, a husband, a son. You can’t bring celebrity baggage to home," he told the The Sun.

Last week, Sheeran revealed he was writing a theme for the most recent Bond film No Time To Die before he was replaced by Billie Eilish.

The singer-songwriter claimed he was attached to the project before the exit of Danny Boyle as director, who cited “creative differences” and was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the first American to helm a 007 film.

Speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast, the Thinking Out Loud singer shared: “You’ve got to, eventually as an English singer, want to do a Bond song.”

He added: “I was (close to) doing one, and they changed directors and they just changed scripts and that was it. I done all the meetings. I had started writing it.

“I’m not going to pretend it didn’t hurt not doing it. If they come back, I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, yeah, of course, yeah’.”
