CARVER –  Edaville Family Theme Park will reopen during the holiday season as the owner continues to search for a buyer.

Edaville  announced on its Facebook page that it will reopen from Nov. 10 through New Year's Day with Christmas lights, rides, food and more.

The 75-year-old park is working on new pricing to make  it more accessible to all, as well as a new website with real-time data on rides and vendors.

In April, the owner of Edaville announced he is retiring to spend more time with his family and that he hoped a buyer would come forward.

"Our preference would be to see that the park continue on," the owner, Jon Delli Priscoli, said. "It needs new energy, new vision."

Delli Priscoli, who has owned the theme park and scenic railroad for the last 21 years, said he has put over $25 million into Edaville and that it would cost  more than $60 million to replace the current infrastructure.

In Tuesday's Facebook post, Edaville told followers to stay tuned for its new website, social media and a public announcement at the end of this month.
