Edible Arrangements To Celebrate Morristown Grand Opening

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Edible Arrangements will celebrate its return to Morristown. The shop will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, which will include live music, giveaways and free samples at 4 Wilmot St., Unit 4A.

Business partners Lina Abuhamda Issa and Gus Adawi own the new store, and Assef Jamhour and Issa’s husband, Fadel Eisa, will help manage the business.

Edible has more than 1,100 locations worldwide, offering all-natural fruit snacks, dipped treats and fresh fruit arrangements

Issa began working for Edible Arrangements at age 17 in New York. After working there for nine years, she took time off for five years and moved to New Jersey.

For the past year, Issa and Adawi have invested time and resources into purchasing and remodeling the Edible store on Wilmot Street. Edible opened in November.

The grand opening will include a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at noon with Mayor Timothy Dougherty. Edible will follow coronavirus protocols during the event, proving masks and hand sanitizer while conducting temperature checks.

Edible Morristown is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
