Edison High Senior Runs Marathon After Training for Months Before Pandemic Hit

An Edison High School senior is running a marathon on her own after training for months before the pandemic hit. She was looking forward to racing in the annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, but along with many other sporting events and races, it was canceled. Sarah Gehres decided she was still going to accomplish her goal. She started running at 7 a.m. today and is expected to finish at Runners World Tulsa before noon.
