GREEN BAY - Two Green Bay schools will move to online instruction for three days because of staff shortages, the district said Thursday afternoon.

Preble High School and Edison Middle School will have an independent learning day on Friday, and teachers will contact students about virtual instruction on Monday and Tuesday.

Students who weren't in school Thursday to pick up the materials for online instruction can pick them up at the school office on Friday.

Meals will be available for pickup at Edison's door 7 and Preble's food service window at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Co-curricular programs are still expected to be held as scheduled.

As of Thursday, seven staff members at Edison and 12 at Preble were in isolation or quarantine, the district's COVID-19 dashboard shows.
