Toyota revealed the redesigned 2022 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck, ditching the 8-cylinder engine yet increasing its towing capacity.
Back then, the Tundra’s 5.7-liter V8 engine’s 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque sounded impressive, the six-speed automatic was state of the art and its 10,000-pound tow rating was competitive. In standard form, 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque are shuttled through a 10-speed automatic to either the rear wheels or all four. At low speeds, the hybrid system is capable of operating solely on electricity, but the gasoline engine will automatically kick on at speeds over 18 mph. Setting the Drive Mode Select dial to Sport or Sport+ (no, we don’t expect the new Tundra to be sporty, regardless of the modes) will maximize performance from the hybrid drivetrain.
There is a lot going on at Tesla these days. There are new models, new capacity and new features for investors to consider.

We look at how the new off-road-oriented Tundra model stacks up against its main rivals from Chevy, Ford, and Ram.
Honda Motor Co's U.S. unit said on Monday it is targeting initial annual sales of 70,000 for its planned electric Prologue sport utility vehicle when it goes to market in 2024. Honda plans to add additional electric vehicle models as it aims to have sold a total of 500,000 electric vehicles in the United States by 2030, and to achieve 100% zero emission vehicles sales in North America by 2040. It comes as President Joe Biden signed an executive order last month setting a target to make half of all new passenger vehicles sold in 2030 zero-emissions vehicles.

If your first thought after seeing the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette shown in our gallery is "it looks like a Hot Wheels," you're right on the money. Built and owned by Michael Tran, this C6 was selected by a panel of judges as a semifinalist in the 2021 Hot Wheels Legends Tour. Held annually since 2018, the Legends Tour's aim is to travel across America (and abroad) in search of the best and most outlandish custom-built cars; there's no sense in entering your low-mileage, unrestored, and unmodified 1962 Volkswagen Beetle, however gorgeous it might be.
The 2022 Kia Sorento is a different sort of three-row SUV, and that's actually the main reason to consider one. The Sorento offers four powertrain choices, most notably the regular Sorento Hybrid that gets 37 mpg combined and the new 2022 Sorento PHEV plug-in hybrid that'll travel 31 miles on electricity only. In the end, not every car has to have an apples-to-apples competitor, and although the Toyota Highlander perhaps comes the closest, the unique Sorento proves that being different can be a good thing.

The 2022 Toyota Tundra is new for its third generation, and it will be on sale by the end of the year in SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro trim levels. Crew- and extended-cab configurations are available with a choice of three different bed lengths, and a new twin-turbocharged V-6 hybrid called iForce Max is available on all but the SR and SR5 models. Toyota has shared images of a few Tundras with different option packages—there will certainly be more configurations available—but these are some of the versions we've seen so far.
