Jun. 11—WHS graduates earn Northwestern College degrees

ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Matthias Johnson and Camila Wede were among 248 graduates to receive bachelor's degrees at Northwestern College during recent commencement ceremonies.

Johnson graduated with a major in business administration/management. He is the son of Sharon Johnson of Worthington. Wede graduated cum laude with a major in political science. She is the daughter of Greg and Teresa Wede of Worthington.

Lakefield student earns UMN Crookston degree

CROOKSTON — The Office of the Registrar at the University of Minnesota Crookston recently announced its list of spring 2021 graduates. Students completed their degree requirements during the spring session 2021.

Spring session graduates include Katie Schmid of Lakefield, who graduated with a bachelor of science in finance.

Area students graduate from Ridgewater College

WILLMAR — Ridgewater College announces the names of its fall and spring semester graduates. Virtual ceremonies for both campuses took place in May 2021.

Students graduating with a diploma or degree graduate with honors if they have a GPA of 3.5 to 3.74, with high honors if they have a GPA of 3.75 to 3.99 and highest honors if they have a GPA of 4.0.

WHS grads on Luther College dean's list

DECORAH, Iowa — Adam Koller and McKenna Prunty, Luther College sophomores from Worthington, have been named to the 2021 Spring Dean's List.

To be named, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).

Regional students qualify for NDSU dean's list

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA — Area Minnesota students were among the 3,529 North Dakota State University students to be placed on the spring 2021 dean's list.

A student must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify for the spring list.

Iowa Lakes releases spring 2021 academic lists

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa — Iowa Lakes Community College has released its 2021 Spring Honors List, which includes full-time students taking 12 credits or more and earning a grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Morningside announces dean's list students

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Morningside University has released the names of students recognized as achieving dean's list recognition for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.

The dean'slList recognizes Morningside students who achieve a 3.67-grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of coursework with no grade below a "C-."

WHS graduate on UW-River Falls list

RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin — The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester dean's list honoring 1,788 students has been released.

To be named, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an "A" and "B" average. Among the students earning dean's list recognition was Kayla Anderson, a horticulture major from Worthington.
