UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
The University of Alabama awarded degrees during its summer commencement ceremonies Aug. 6 to the following Polk County students: Emily DelleDonne of Bartow received a Master of Science degree; Amanda Gillespie of Winter Haven received a Doctor of Social Work degree; Aarin Sauberman of Davenport received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and information sciences; Elizabeth Sebring of Babson Park received a Master of Library and Information Studies degree; Rendell Smith of Lakeland received a Master of Science degree.
ALBRIGHT COLLEGE
Joseph Wellman of Lake Alfred and Cameron Williams of Auburndale are members of the NCAA Division III Football team at Albright College. Both are graduates of Auburndale High School, Wellman is a first year student in the Alpha Program. Williams is a first year business administration, sport management major.
BOB JONES UNIVERSITY
Joanna Lain of Lakeland was named to the Bob Jones University Bruins women's cross country team roster for the 2022-23 academic year. Lain is a sophomore majoring in music.
