Easter EGG-stravaganza

When: April 9, 10, and 16

Where: Buttonwood Park Zoo, 425 Hawthorn St., New Bedford

Tickets: member prices $11 adults; $7 child non-member $16 adults; $12 child; free for under 2

Hop on over to Buttonwood Park Zoo and join in the fun at their Easter EGG-stravaganza. This family-friendly, outdoor, walk-through event will include an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, Easter candy stations, Spring Forward Obstacle Course and The Bunny Hop Trail.

With endless photo opportunities, unlimited carousel rides, up-close meet and greets with Animal Ambassadors plus a visit from the Easter Bunny, you’re sure to have an EGG-cellent time.

Mattapoisett Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 9, 11 a.m. sharp

Where: Ned's Point Lighthouse, 50 Ned's Point Road, Mattapoisett

No registration needed. Children will be separated into age groups. Make sure to bring a basket.

When: April 9,10,15 and 16; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Roger Williams Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence, R.I.

Tickets: $5 Easter Bunny tickets are required for each child age 12 and under.

Head on over to Roger Williams Park Zoo to visit with everyone’s favorite bunny. Say hello to the Easter Bunny and even pose for a sweet photo together. Afterwards, feel free to adventure through the zoo's exhibits, giving you the perfect day — and be sure to bring your own camera to capture the magic.

Everyone must also have a same-day zoo admission ticket to attend. Roger Williams Park Zoo is still using timed entry to reduce crowding on grounds. When ordering, be sure to reserve your zoo ticket and your Easter Bunny ticket together and be sure they are scheduled for the same day. Capacity is limited, and tickets must be reserved online in advance at https://www.rwpzoo.org/events.

Easter Egg Hunt 2022

When: April 9 and 10; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Hill Crest Alpaca Farm, 338 Old Fall River Road, North Dartmouth

Tickets: $10 entry fee per child

Each child will get a color-coded basket and hunt for 10 eggs of that color. They will open the eggs on-site and place the eggs in a basket provided for refill. This is not a “free for all” so there is no reason to be first in line. Each child will leave with 10 eggs.

Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy face painting, games, food, shopping, and, of course, alpacas.

Brunch with the Easter Bunny

When: April 9; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Allendale Country Club, 1047 Allen St., N. Dartmouth

Tickets: $25 adults, $15 ages 5 to 12, 4 and under free; 508-992-8682, option 3

Brunch with the Easter Bunny. There will be food, activities for the kids and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Reservations are required. Be sure to bring your camera.

Easter Specialty Farmers Market

When: April 10; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Tiverton Middle School, 10 Quintal Drive, Tiverton

The Tiverton Farmers Market will be hosting another Pop-up Market this spring.

There will be all sorts of goodies including seafood and meats; artisan foods; prepared meals; vegan breads, doughnuts and cheese; microgreens and vegetables; baked goods; flowers; pottery and jewelry; artists and makers; pet foods, treats and leashes. There will also be live music.

Easter Weekend Wine Tasting

When: April 15; 4 to 6 p.m.

Dinner with the Easter Bunny

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 15; 7:15 p.m.

A fun evening searching for eggs filled with goodies in the dark. Hunt begins at 7:15 p.m. for the preschool hunters (2 to 5 years old), 7:30 p.m. for big kid hunters (6 to 10 years old). Bring a flashlight and they provide the egg carton for gathering your eggs. Kids will have an "eggcellent" time at their annual Flashlight Egg Hunt.
