Eight vying for Miss Monroe County Teen title Aug. 16
Eight local contestants will compete in the 17th annual Miss Monroe County Outstanding Teen Scholarship program, set for 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Meyer Theater, La-Z-Boy Center at Monroe County Community College, 1555 S. Raisinville Road.
Miss Monroe County Princess candidates also will be crowned during the show.

The 61st annual Miss Monroe County Scholarship program will take place at 6 p.m. Aug. 19 in the Meyer Theater at MCCC.
