El Dorado County wildfire forces evacuations

National forest fire crews are battling a fire in El Dorado County that has forced nearby evacuations, officials said Tuesday. The Fork Fire has burned more than 400 acres "with a fast rate of spread," according to the El Dorado National Forest Service. It is located off Wentworth Springs Road near Gerle Creek.
