El Paso woman missing for months, could be in danger, police say

An El Paso woman who has been missing for 10 months is the subject of a search by authorities on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border.

Odali Estefany Rojas Olvera, 27, has not contacted friends and family and could be in danger, according to a missing-persons alert issued this week by the El Paso Police Department.

Her family has reported her missing in El Paso and Juárez.

Rojas was last seen on Oct. 18, 2022, when she left her home in the Hacienda de las Torres section of southeastern Juárez, according to a missing-person's bulleting issued by the Chihuahua Attorney General's Office in February.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans. The Chihuahua bulletin lists her as a "foreign nationality," meaning she is likely a U.S. citizen.

El Paso police reported that Rojas Olvera is also listed as residing on Faith Road in the Montana Vista area of El Paso County. It is common in the Borderland for some people to have residences on both sides of the Rio Grande.

Rojas Olvera is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair.

She has several tattoos, including black roses inked on her left forearm, a cross and dollar bills on her right arm, a triangle-shaped emblem near her right shoulder, a ballerina on a thigh, letters on a leg and a crown on her neck, according to a missing-person bulletin.
