The election disinformation campaign across this country is threatening to have success in Tuesday's election. It is based upon the “Big Lie” and is having a devastating impact upon our ability to vote.

The impact is being felt in every area of voting, including voting by mail and in person. Freedom from frivolous challenges has been eroded and voter intimidation appears to be at an all-time high.

The Collaborative Multi-Racial Political Study recently revealed that “38% of Latinos and 30% of African Americans believe that some fraud occurred in the 2020 election despite being repeatedly discredited and disproven by credible sources,” and rejected by the courts.

Fair minded people are simply stupefied by the slavish mentality of people who can see clearly, read well, think adequately, but yet accept untruthful claims of election tampering. The real tampering occurs when there is a refusal to give up when the results show a clear loss. Tampering occurs when a mean-spirited office holder attempts to derail a peaceful transfer of power from one administration to another.

As the world continues to reel from the “real” Donald J. Trump, we are now faced with his many clones, in all shapes and colors. There appears to be a national quest as to who can wield the most power in the most unlikely of places.

Go into the voting booth, or get your ballot marked with the following lineup in mind. Envision our American lifestyle and sense of well-being under the control of Trump, Elon Musk, Herschel Walker, Tommy Tuberville and Kanye West.

The cadre of people named should frighten every American who can vote into doing so and into engaging in getting every eligible voter to the polls. The only thing missing from the list is Frankenstein.

Walker is particularly frightening. A vote for him is a slap in the face of any American, not just African Americans. An opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal’s Oct. 8 weekend edition explored why Walker “should not have run” for the Georgia U.S. Senate seat.

The author quoted John Ellis, who said, “He’s not qualified. He won’t know what to do when (and if) he gets to Washington. He’s only on the ticket because former President Trump endorsed him.”

The author of the opinion piece believes that the real story about Walker is not that the “avowed pro-life” candidate paid for abortions, but, that he abandoned his own children. That story came from his son Christian, “a conservative activist.” He said his “father had random kids all over the country ... wasn’t in the house raising one of them.”

He further said, “You have no idea what me and my mom have survived.” The Republican Party allegedly knew this when they decided to back him.

Christian’s mother, Walker’s ex-wife, feared Walker and sought a protective order against him. She stated that he held a gun against her head and threatened to blow her brains out.

This is the person whom Georgians want to send to the Senate with the current and coming cast of characters? This is who they wish to help decide Ukraine policy and matters facing all of us in the U.S.?

What happened to “family values?” All of the righteous indignation goes out the window when it comes to the likes of Donald J. Trump and the men on the list,

Think about these men when you vote — what they represent and who they are close to. Think about who will be making decisions on your behalf.

It is truly mind boggling that the Republican Party values winning so much that it would put us all in the position of being subjected to the thoughts and actions of a person whose likeness the GOP has railed against for as long as it has existed.

What happened to your scream across this country of “family values?” Ask Herschel Walker’s uncared for children.
