from the bakery to the butcher
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) FORMER CUBAN NURSE, FERIDIA ROJAS, SAYING:
"This is my little house. I use it to run errands that are a little further away, and I feel protected by it, which is why I use it.
"I was afraid of the asymptomatic cases, that they would cough at the moment I passed by. "So I thought : I'll do a little house with a cardboard box and wear it."
The witty slogans on her box
have caught the attention of locals
who are impressed with her invention

"I'm going to get a cardboard box house. I'm gonna get two boxes right now. It's spectacular, you're at home and you're protected. Very nice, very good. People are coming up with new things."
