Eldorado Canyon State Park closes timed entry system for summer season

Sep. 14—Eldorado Canyon State Park will close its timed entry reservation system for vehicles starting Thursday. Visitors accessing the park with personal vehicles have been required to use the system on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays since July 23.

Eldorado Canyon is the first Colorado state park to implement a timed entry process. The reservation system will also run next year starting May 15.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife encourages park guests to plan their visits ahead of time for a more enjoyable experience this fall and winter season.
