Election 2022: Results for Texas Congressional District 34 special election
Voters in Texas’ Congressional District 34 in the U.S. House of Representatives selected Republican Mayra Flores to serve out the remaining term left with the resignation of U.S. Rep. Filemon B. Vela, D-Brownsville. Flores will serve through the beginning of January 2023.
Flores also won the March 1 Republican primary election for the same seat and will face Democrat Vicente Gonzalez Jr. on Nov. 8 in the general election for the two-year term from January 2023 through January 2025.

Texas Congressional District 34 covers 11 counties in Texas, including Kleberg County and portions of San Patricio County.
