Election 2022: Volusia Tiger Bay Club hosts 'An Evening of Political Fireworks' Thursday

The Tiger Bay Club of Volusia County will host a series of mini-debates Thursday with candidates for School Board, Florida House of Representatives and Congress participating.

"An Evening of Political Fireworks" is set for 6 to 9 p.m. at Brown & Brown Insurance, 300 N. Beach St., Daytona Beach. Races scheduled for the debates, to be hosted by attorney and Tiger Bay Club president-elect Ryan Will, include: Volusia County School Board Districts 1 and 3; State Representative, House Districts 29 and 30 (Republican); and Congress District 7, Republicans and Democrats.

Some other individual candidates will also be given time to introduce themselves.

While Tiger Bay events normally are reserved for club members and ticket-buying public, this event is free and open to the public. The club asks that those planning to attend register at its website: www.tigerbayvolusia.org.
