Elections: Del Val, Eastburg, Wallenpaupack, Wayne Highlands, Western Wayne school boards

Voters across Pike and Wayne counties made decisions in school board elections.

The results are unofficial and include Election Day and mail-in and absentee ballots for all precincts. These totals do not reflect provisional ballots in Pike County but do reflect them for Wayne County.

Delaware Valley

Seven candidates were on the ballot for five seats.

The winners were John "Jack" Fisher with 3,586 votes, Brian Fells with 3,564, Rosemary Walsh with 3,473, Christine Agron with 3,421 and Carl Will with 3,367.

Fells and Will are Republicans. Walsh is a Democrat. Fisher and Agron, both incumbents, cross-filed as Democratic/Republican.

Democratic incumbent Carso received 3,186 votes and Bukaj, a cross-filed incumbent, got 3,088.

East Stroudsburg

Six candidates were on the ballot for five seats.

Voters elected Ann Catrillo with 4,685 votes, Debbie Kulick with 4,318, Rebecca Bear with 4,207, Keith Karkut with 4,118 and Michael Catrillo with 4,101.

Ann Catrillo is a Democrat; Kulick, Bear and Karkut cross-filed as Democratic/Republican; and Michael Catrillo is a Republican. Kulick and Bear are incumbents.

Lisa VanWhy, a cross-filed incumbent, received 3,580 votes.

These totals reflect results from both Monroe and Pike counties.

Wallenpaupack

Wallenpaupack had five candidates for five seats.

All were incumbents and all cross-filed as Democratic/Republican. Totals were as follows: Kelly Obermiller, 3,858 votes; John Spall, 3,811; Genevieve Reese, 3,719; Mike Spencer, 3,605; and Roy Finney Jr., 3,573.

These totals reflect results from both Pike and Wayne counties.

Wayne County elections: Voters re-elect commissioners, other incumbents

Wayne Highlands

Five full terms and one two-year term were on the ballot across three regions.

Region 1: Tanya Gibbs-Hinkley cross-filed as Democratic/Republican and received 1,278 votes.

Region 2: There were three candidates for three seats. All were incumbents and all cross-filed as Democratic/Republican.

David Stanton had 1,095 votes, Brian Weist had 1,077 and George Korb had 1,072.

Region 3: Republican Travis Samson beat incumbent Democrat James Rutherford 1,038 votes to 804.

There was also a two-year term on the ballot in Region 3, which cross-filed incumbent Matthew Corso ran unopposed for, receiving 1,567 votes

Western Wayne

Five seats were on the ballot across three regions.

Region 1: Kerin Weinberger cross-filed as Democratic/Republican and was unopposed, receiving 1,065 votes.

Region 2: There were three candidates for two seats. Cross-filed incumbent William Gershey was re-elected with 702 votes and will be joined by Republican Angela Booths, who received 649 votes. Diane Diffenderfer, a Democrat, got 392 votes.

Region 3: There were three candidates for two seats. Cross filed incumbent Dana Terenzio-DeSiato was re-elected with 717 votes. Republican Christina Hinz got 698 votes and Democratic incumbent Rick Hoch finished third with 548.
