What’s my elevation? Snow chances remain this week around Portland area

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The threat of snow remains around the greater Portland-Vancouver area this week. A dust of snow has already been seen around the metro area Monday morning with more to come this week.

Snow elevations are all over the place this week. A temperature roller coaster ride is expected to last through the week. The chance to see snow remains elevated Monday night through Tuesday morning and again Friday into Saturday. These will be the coldest periods of the week.

Snow accumulation through the week will only amount to a dusting to nothing at all for the Portland-Vancouver metro area. Everything that is expected to fall will melt on contact. Little to no impacts are expected for anyone’s commute through the end of the week. Tricky travel is possible for locations above 2,000 ft.

Snow, hail, lightning and rain all possible in Portland during next 24 hours
