The Green Bay Packers are bringing back a Pro Bowl starter along the offensive line and will get team debuts from two veteran defenders on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins is active after missing the last three games with an ankle injury, and linebacker Jaylon Smith and cornerback Rasul Douglas are also active and will make their debuts with the Packers.

Jenkins started the first two games at left tackle but injured his ankle in Week 2 and missed games against the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. He could play left tackle again, replacing Yosh Nijman, or the Packers could keep Nijman at left tackle and start Jenkins at left guard, the position he played during a Pro Bowl season in 2020.

The Packers are also bringing back center Josh Myers, so the offensive line is nearly back at full strength.

Smith and Douglas will provide veteran help on defense. Smith could play a reserve role behind De’Vondre Campbell and Krys Barnes at linebacker, while Douglas is especially needed at cornerback with Jaire Alexander and Kevin King both out on Sunday.
