Eli Roth launches call for scariest short film

"Hostel" director Eli Roth has enlisted Quentin Tarantino and other celebrities to judge a selection of fan-submitted short films for his #15SecondScare Instagram campaign.

Fans are being called upon to submit the scariest short they can muster for the chance to win $10,000 and have their video turned into a short by Crypt TV, reports Variety.

Other judges will include music producer deadmau5, comedian Jordan Peele, actress Vanessa Hudgens, "Enter the Void" director Gaspar Noé, "Paranormal Activity" producer Jason Blum and Roth.

A winner will be announced on Halloween.
