Elizabeth Hurley and her 17-year-old son look identical in a new Christmas Day selfie.

Damian Hurley, an actor and model, uploaded the candid snap on Wednesday alongside the caption: “Happy Christmas!”

The photograph, taken outside, shows the mother and son duo staring down the camera lens with the same blue eyes and the same long brunette hair.

Elizabeth, 54, is pictured wearing a brown tweed coat and a black bobble hat while Damian is also wearing a black hat complete with a fur trim and a black zip-up jacket.

Damian added a festive twist to his Christmas Day look by wearing a tinsel headband on top of his hat.

The photograph has garnered more than 7,600 likes and hundreds of comments from fans fawning over the duo and their striking resemblance to one another.

“Peas in a pod!” wrote one person while several others described them as “twins”.

It’s not the first time fans have noticed a likeness between Damian and Elizabeth.

In July, Damian recreated his mother’s famous Versace “safety pin dress” at an event in London.

The model attended the launch of Pat McGrath’s new product range in a pair of black cigarette trousers and a black blazer that featured seven gold oversized pins which was reminiscent to the black dress worn by his mother to the Four Weddings and a Funeral Premiere with her then-boyfriend and star of the film, Hugh Grant, in 1994.

The Versace design worn by Hurley is credited for bringing her to public attention. The dress featured a plunging V-shaped neckline with thick black straps, side cut-outs, and several large gold safety pins.
