Elizabeth Olsen has one again declared her interest in appearing in an all-female Marvel blockbuster, insisting that it would make a huge impact on audiences.

Olsen, who appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Scarlet Witch, told AM2DM by Buzzfeed News, “I think people really love these characters. I feel like all the men in Marvel movies have done such a brilliant job with satisfying a lot of things our audiences want, and they're funny and they're talented.”

“And so are all the women, and to give them more screen time, I think, would be a huge impact, because comics aren't just for boys who want to watch other big boys.”

An all-female Marvel movie has been touted for quite some time, with the women in the MCU being particularly vocal about their desire to do it.

Brie Larson, who made her debut as Captain Marvel earlier this year before returning in Avengers: Endgame, recently revealed that she and several of her co-stars went straight up to studio head Kevin Feige and declared, “We are in this together, we want to do this.”

Larson doesn’t know what sort of impact that made on Feige, but with a roster of female superheroes that includes her, Olsen, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Evangeline Lily as Wasp, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Marvel would surely be foolish not to bring them all together.

There’s also the small matter of Black Widow, which will be Scarlett Johansson’s last outing as the titular character, although it will introduce Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, who takes on the codename Black Widow in the comics, and Rachel Weisz’s Melina, too.
