Elk Grove Restaurant Week kicks off with discounted meals at local businesses. Here’s when

If there is a restaurant in Elk Grove that you’ve always wanted to try, starting Friday you may be able to eat at that establishment, and many others, for a discounted price.

Dozens of Elk Grove restaurants and food service businesses are participating in Elk Grove Restaurant Week, a 10-day event from Friday through Jan. 21, offering a variety of discounts and deals on purchases.

Elk Grove Restaurant Week is an annual event focused on supporting local restaurants and businesses throughout the city. It’s the sixth year Elk Grove has hosted its rendition, according to Explore Elk Grove’s marketing and event manager Casey Fabbri.

“In 2023, the free pass program saw (over) 2,300 pass holders and (more than) 1,300 redemptions and check-ins. Restaurant Week is a ten-day event to allow for two weekend opportunities for dining,” Fabbri said.

This year, there are 45 participating eateries, from upscale restaurants to casual cafes.

According to Explore Elk Grove, patrons can sign up for a free pass for Restaurant Week 2024, which will provide savings on signature meals at Elk Grove restaurants.

Some of the options available include: Sheldon Inn, Boulevard Bistro, Todo Un Poco, Fujiya, 32 Brews Street (at Sky River Casino), Coatza Brewing, Pig Latin, Jamie’s Cafe, A Seat at the Table Books and others.

The dining pass is open to all ages, and all that’s needed are a mobile number and an email address. There is no app required to access the pass.

Those in possession of a dining pass will have a chance to win prizes every time they check in to participating businesses, according to Explore Elk Grove. Some examples of potential prizes are a farmer’s market tote bag or a bento box with a utensil set.

Pass holders can redeem prizes using their points until Feb. 20. For more information, visit the Explore Elk Grove website.
