Apr. 13—Although the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912, and was not found until 1985, the fascination surrounding her has not abated.

But the most haunting visuals come from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's uncut 1986 footage, taken by the human-occupied robot Alvin, and remotely operated Jason Junior. This film was just recently released to the public for the first time.
