Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Just Sold Adam Levine's Former Home—Take a Look Inside

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi just added another impressive house flip to their ever-expanding real estate track record: Their Beverly Hills mansion has sold for approximately $47 million, a month after hitting the market for $53.5 million.

Although the home didn’t sell for its asking price, it still made for an impressive profit of over $4 million. DeGeneres and de Rossi purchased this property from Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo back in 2019, for $42.5 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. The musician and supermodel reportedly put $7 million worth of renovation work into the home, after purchasing it for $33.9 million in 2018.

And this isn’t the only abode of Ellen and Portia’s with ties to other celebrities—last June, Ariana Grande purchased the couple’s former Montecito home for $6.7 million, which they spent $3.6 million for in January of 2020.

So, what makes this property worth $47 million? Spanning over 10,000 square feet, the dwelling boasts five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a library, a media room with its own bar, and a private tennis court. There’s also a 50-foot living room with a stone fireplace, sizable walk-in closets, a two-story foyer with reclaimed wood floors, a full gourmet kitchen and even a separate chef’s kitchen.

Kurt Rappaport, a cofounder of Westside Estate Agency, held the listing. He has also represented Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, Ryan Seacrest, and Tom Ford, amongst others, in past real estate sales.
