Ellie Goulding Details New Album Brightest Blue

Ellie Goulding has detailed the new album Brightest Blue, her follow-up to 2015’s Delirium. Out July 17 on Interscope, the LP includes a side of songs showcasing her “vulnerability” and another of “confident, brave, and fearless” songs, she said in a press release. The second side features collaborations with Diplo, the late Juice WRLD, Swae Lee, and others; serpentwithfeet guests on the first side’s “Start.”

Goulding produced the first side with Joe Kearns. Her co-songwriters include Tobias Jesso Jr. and Chairlift’s Patrick Wimberly. Goulding said in a press release that the first side “acknowledges a complex world where relationships still dictate our happiness and heartbreak and can still be the most painful thing in the world, no matter how enlightened you are. The tracks also symbolize growing up and becoming a woman.” Find the cover art and tracklist below.
