Elton John Won’t Be Having Any More Children As He’s Had A Vasectomy

The doting dad recently said he wanted a daughter to add to his brood.

There’s little chance if it now as Elton John has admitted he had a vasectomy.

The Rocket Man singer, 68, who used a surrogate to have sons Zachary, five, and Elijah, three, with husband David, 53, made the admission during his Aids Foundation Oscars after-party on Sunday night.

Speaking of his vasectomy at the LA do, he confirmed: “No, I won’t be having any more children.”

Film producer David added: “Our family is pretty complete.”

Elton’s confirmation he’s had the snip come after he declared earlier this month he also wanted like a daughter.

In an interview with Lorraine Kelly on her daytime ITV show, he also confessed how he wished that he had become a father sooner.

He said: “I wish I had done it earlier. I’d like a little girl.”

The star, who has been busy promoting his latest album, Wonderful Crazy Night, also said he wanted to scale down work commitments in order to spend more time with his family.

He added: “Being away from my sons is hard. I’m going to stop travelling so much. It is about them. If you don’t stop, what’s the point in having children?”
