Emergency Services on Scene of Fire at Chinese Consulate General in Houston

A number of small fires were evident in the courtyard behind the Chinese consulate general in Houston, Texas, on July 21 amid reports citing the Chinese foreign ministry as saying the US had ordered China to close the consulate within 72 hours.

KHOU reported that the Houston Fire Department attended the scene, but did not enter the consulate after being told by officials that there was no risk to health and safety.
