Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner pay tribute to fallen 'Game of Thrones' co-stars
Spoiler alert: This story contains significant details about Sunday's episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones."
"The Long Night" really tugged everyone's heartstrings – the cast included.
Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen said goodbye to her longtime confidant Jorah Mormont (played by Iain Glen) during the epic Battle of Winterfell on Sunday's "Game of Thrones," after he selflessly died protecting the Mother of Dragons until the very end.
Clarke took to Instagram Monday to share a tribute to her fallen co-star, posting a photo of the duo in full costume and full of smiles before the tragic end of Glen’s Mormont.

"YOURE SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST, BETTER THAN ANYONE, ANYONE IVE EVER MET," she wrote to Glen, quoting "The Best," the Bonnie Tyler song that was famously covered by Tina Turner, with a crying emoji.
Clarke added several hashtags, including "ser jorah for lyfe," "heartbreak hotel," "thrones throws a punch and a half" and "best thing ive ever seen on screen EVER."

Sophie Turner, the show's Sansa Stark, shared similar sentiments about Alfie Allen's Theon Greyjoy, the man her character reunited and shared a final meal with before the White Walker battle.
Turner wrote on Instagram, "To Alfie and to Theon.... 'You’re a good man,'" reciting the final words the Three-Eyed Raven Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) said to Theon before he was killed by the Night King.
