Emily in Paris' Lily Collins has reunited with her co-star Ashley Park, following Park's sepsis diagnosis last month.

Sharing an update on Instagram, Park posted a photo carousel which an image included of herself and Collins embracing on the sofa as she thanked fans for their support during her recovery from septic shock.

"I'm deeply moved and thankful for your beautiful messages of support and comfort, your personal stories of sepsis and hospitalisation, and truly to every person who has reached out with love," she wrote in the caption

"Every message has honestly boosted me into a quick and hopeful recovery," she added.

Revealing she has now been able to join the rest of the Emily in Paris cast in the French capital, where production on season four is currently underway, Park added that she is enjoying "couch cuddles" with Collins while she awaits medical clearance for work.

She continued: "I'm sorry for the delay in responses. Just wanted to update that I was medically cleared to fly after responding to treatments, and am now recovering and resting in Paris where I was greeted with this incredible warm welcome from loved ones and my Emily in Paris fam.

"Thank you to @netflix and @emilyinparis for their genuine kindness and gracious patience as I wait to be medically cleared to work.

"I couldn't be more excited to join them all on set for Season 4. I promise I'm breathing through this all and taking as much care of myself as I can to get back into fighting shape. In the meantime, thanks for the couch cuddles @lilyjcollins."

"Couldn't love you more and hugging you made me feel like home. You're an absolute light sister," Collins replied to the post, while Park's co-star and real-life boyfriend Paul Forman added a string of kissing face emojis.

Earlier this month, Park, who plays who plays Mindy Chen on the hit Netflix series, detailed how she had been diagnosed with septic shock following complications from tonsillitis while on holiday in December.

Revealing that the illness had "infected and affected several of my organs" in a post on Instagram, she added that she was grateful for the healthcare workers who had treated her and for Forman, who had remained "unconditionally" by her side.

Emily in Paris seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix. Season 4 has been confirmed.
