Emily Ratajkowski Picks Her Top Gifts for the Woman in Your Life

To ring in the start of the gifting season, Emily Ratajkowski teamed up with eBay to put together a roundup of some of her favorite picks. And because she's generous like that, she agreed to walk us through why, exactly, she chose them. But before we got to that, she explained her philosophy on gift-giving with a somewhat unexpected example.

"My birthday was over the summer, and a couple of my friends pitched in and got me this really cool vase that’s a bunch of… boobs," the 27-year-old model and actress says. "And I would have never bought it for myself, but it’s so beautiful, it’s like two feet tall and an amazing object, and it’s so me." That doesn't mean she'd necessarily recommend going out and looking for something quite so specific as you're making your way down the gift list this holiday season. But it drives home a simple point: "A great gift is the thing that you wouldn’t buy for yourself."

If you've got people in your life who won't necessarily splurge on themselves, you know exactly what she's getting at. Which is why she put together a list of high-end handbags, hyped sneakers, and investment-level watches that you can buy for them. "I love gifts, I totally want all the presents, but I really love giving gifts," she says. "I like the surprise; I guess I’m a romantic in that way."
