Emma Raducanu's rise to fame has been swift. Prior to her US Open win, few people knew her name. Now, she's scoring deals with billion dollar companies, playing tennis with royals and attending film premieres.
Here's how it all happened.
Raducanu's US Open win
On Saturday 11 September 2021, an audience of 7.4 million people in the UK watched Emma Raducanu beat Leylah Fernandez to win the Women's Singles at the US Open. She was the first Brit to win since 1977.
Within hours, her Instagram following had jumped by over one million and today stands at 2.1m.
A Met Gala debut and Tiffany & Co deal
Two days later, the Toronto-born sportswoman swapped her tennis gear for Chanel and rubbed shoulders with Hollywood heavyweights during her Met Gala debut.
Baring her midriff in fashion-forward, monochrome separates from the brand's Resort 22 collection, diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co - a jewellery brand she sported throughout the US Open - completed the look and hinted at her next reveal.

Sure enough, the following week, Tiffany & Co confirmed Raducanu to be their new House Ambassador.
Raducanu cemented the partnership by attending a high-fashion dinner, hosted by British Vogue and Tiffany & Co, during London Fashion Week. Swapping her trainers for silver sandals, Raducanu mingled with other A-list guests including Idris Elba, model Jourdan Dunn and actor Claire Foy.
The new face of Dior
Now, Dior's announced their involvement in the 18-year-old's rise to stardom: on Tuesday 19 October 2021 Raducanu was revealed to be the new face of the French fashion house's womenswear and beauty collections.
It's hard not to be impressed by how quickly the British-raised star has cemented her celebrity status.
In between her various fashion wins, Raducanu's played tennis with the Duchess of Cambridge and attended the world premiere of the latest Bond instalment in London.
Plus, of course, played some more professional tennis in her Nike gear - part of an earlier deal signed with the sportswear brand ahead of her win.
It was her outfit at the No Time to Die premiere on September 28 that hinted at the newest addition to Raducanu's CV. She arrived at the event wearing a one-shouldered gown from the Dior Cruise 2022 collection. The Grecian-inspired gown was the brainchild of Maria Grazia Chiuri, head of womenswear at Dior, and someone that Raducanu is clearly a fan of.
“Maria Grazia’s work empowers women to feel confident in the iconic Dior cut, which I feel is very unique,” Raducanu told British Vogue.
“The sincerity of her approach and the way she turns shows into collective and meaningful events unquestionably influenced me in my choice.”
