Emma Roberts is really taking the “out with the old, in with the new” adage seriously in 2021. Already this year, she’s jumped headfirst into motherhood—she welcomed son Rhodes at the very end of 2020—and taken on a new role as a producer under her Belletrist Productions banner. And now, according to Dirt, the actress has purchased a brand-new home in Los Angeles.

The Colonial-style property, located behind privacy gates and hedges on a quiet street in Hollywood, dates back to the early 1920s and set Roberts back $3.2 million in an off-market deal. The home spans more than 2,500 square feet, with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, including a second-floor main suite with a private patio overlooking the backyard. A detached two-car garage on the property has reportedly been converted into a combination guesthouse and home office.

The white stucco main home also features an eat-in kitchen loaded with top-of-the-line appliances, plus plenty of formal and informal living and dining space. Outside, the backyard offers a swimming pool with inset spa, a firepit, and lots of patio space, all in a serene space loaded with lush green foliage and kept private from the outside world by tall hedges, if Roberts’ recent Instagram posts are any indication.

News of the 30-year-old’s new purchase came only a few months after she reportedly finalized the sale of her previous L.A. abode. That home, which also dates back to the early 1920s, is located in the upscale Laughlin Park gated community in Los Feliz. The bright yellow, 3,800-square-foot home sold for just under $6 million in October.
