Emmerdale has finally revealed Alex Moore's evil plot in the latest episode.
Vicar Charles Anderson and his partner Manpreet Sharma have been suspicious of Naomi's new boyfriend Alex, especially since he has a rocky history with Dawn Taylor.
Alex has seemingly tried to worm his way into Charles's good favour by joining the church outreach group, though Tuesday's episode (March 21) revealed he had even more sinister plans in mind than wooing Naomi.

Alex continued his dodgy behaviour on a mystery phone call, later explaining to Naomi and Charles that he'd been lining up a job interview.
This turned out to be a lie as Belle Dingle spotted him handing over cash to a mysterious person on the edges of the village. With no idea he was being watched, Alex returned to the pub to claim his interview had gone well.
Everything unraveled for Alex soon after, when Belle reported what she'd seen to Naomi. While Naomi initially disbelieved Belle, she eventually caught out Alex for his lies in the beer garden.
Alex spun yet another quick lie, insisting he'd actually been helping Clare and her son Max financially ever since he met the boy's father in prison.

He was able to sway Naomi with his quick excuse, then ducked out for another secretive meeting. This time, he met up with Clare once again, but the truth of their relationship came out.
It turns out Alex only got involved with Naomi as a means to get access to the surgery so he could rob it along with his criminal associates.
Viewers know that Alex will carry out his robbery of the surgery later this week, but will end up with his life on the line after a hit-and-run.
