Emmerdale star Danny Miller has ruled out a family storyline for his character Aaron Dingle in the long running soap.
Despite producers of the hit ITV drama previously hinting that children for Aaron and previous partner Robert Sugden were a definite possibility, it doesn't seem as though the storyline will be happening any time soon.
Speaking to TV Times, Miller was asked whether he wanted Aaron to become a dad, to which he had a very definitive answer.
"God, no! I think he's so far away from being a father any time soon, or a husband."

Continuing, Miller said: "He needs to learn to love himself before he can let anyone else love him – that old cliché is so true when it comes to Aaron."
In the place of a quiet family life, Miller explained that his hopes for Aaron involve a lot more mischief...
"It would be nice to have a trio of Caleb, Aaron and Cain. That would be my wish, to see them working together as a Dingle threesome and taking on people. It's always fun to do those kinds of scens, where you're nicking cars, avoiding the police and doing a bit of fighting."

Aaron recently made a "dark" return to the Dales, after it was revealed that he was being held hostage by his uncles.
He had previously been seen on the soap in October 2022 for a stint during the soap's big 50th anniversary celebrations. He exited the Dales after discovering his mum Chas was cheating on husband Paddy.
Despite only just returning, the character has been planning a shock exit after remaining at odds with his family following his return.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
