As viewers may have known for a while, Caleb, who is a newcomer, has always had some kind of hidden agenda. But on tonight's episode, we finally see him confirm his intention of taking down Home Farm and taking it all for himself.

He presents himself as an ally to Kim Tate in helping her set up the stud farm, but as the last few minutes of the episode made very clear, it is nothing but a front.

In the episode, we see Will apologise to Amy after the altercation with Cain, but then are surprised to see the new stud horse Apollo charging down Main Street as he has escaped from his stable.

Turns out, Cain let the horse out as his revenge on Will for the altercation about Kyle the other day. He is happy to watch Will fall apart as he tries to rein the horse in.

But then Caleb and Sam swoop in with a horse box to save the day. Caleb makes his disdain for Will very clear and with Sam's help, manages to slip the halter over Apollo's head.

Later, as Will laments over how he got everything so wrong, he shakes Caleb's hand and a mutual respect forms between the pair. When Will finds out it was Cain who let the horse out, he is furious.

Caleb tries to talk Cain down but then Cain starts questioning Caleb's involvement with Home Farm and ends up giving him an ultimatum — Cain has no interest in Caleb if all he wants to do is impress the people at Home Farm over his family.

He says that Caleb says he's all about family and came to town to find his brother and sister, but Cain suspects there is something more afoot. But Cain is in for a shock of his own as Caleb then states that he intends to actually take down Home Farm.

"See I pick my battles, and that way I always win," Caleb tells Cain.

And when Cain asks what that leaves the people at Home Farm with, Caleb says: "With me taking it all, and leaving them with nothing."
