Emmerdale's Daisy Campbell has shared photos from her holiday with co-star Rosie Bentham.

The pair, who play Amelia Spencer and Gabby Thomas respectively, are enjoying a break from the soap by travelling to Croatia, and Campbell shared some snaps from their trip.

"Hvar/Split, you've been lush," she wrote on Instagram, accompanying a collection of photos as the pair enjoyed the sun and their beautiful surroundings.

The snaps included some time on the beach, the water on jet skis, and in their room with a newfound feline friend.

Sarah Sugden actress Katie Hill commented on the post, saying: "Stunning as always", alongside a wealth of fan appreciation.

Meanwhile, in current developments on the soap, Campbell's on-screen father Liam Fox teased his upcoming scenes as Dan Spencer, with the character awaiting his prison sentence following his accidental killing of Lloyd.

"When I read the scripts, I thought: 'Wow, this is awesome'," he said. "Dan is taking it all in. He realises that he's going, but he's getting support from other people in the village. There's some lovely stuff before he goes, in The Woolpack. Man Club are there supporting Dan. Those scenes are really well-written – really nice stuff. It made me cry a few times reading it. I feel very lucky to get that sort of script for this story.

"Dan is worried about how long he's going to get. He's presuming that he's going to get around three years. He's got it in his head that he'll then be allowed out after 18 months – but at the same time, can he even cope with 18 months?"

Fox went on to say that Dan will be a "different man" on the other side.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
