Emmerdale's Jonny McPherson is in a "really happy" relationship, having split from co-star Natalie J Robb in 2021.
While speaking to OK! recently, McPherson, who has played Dr Liam Cavanagh on and off since 2014, confirmed that he's not only dating a mystery woman, but can now finally rent a flat in Leeds after residing on a boat for a number of years.
"I am with someone," he said. "She is absolutely wonderful. We've been together for a couple of years. I am really happy."

McPherson went on to explain: "Acting is a precarious profession. It can be very difficult to get a mortgage if you are only working for six months of the year.
"So, when you get two years of working on something like Emmerdale, it allows you to get a mortgage finally. I've got a flat now in Leeds and I've sold my boat.
"I did put it on Airbnb for 18 months before I sold it, and it really took off. After a while, though, it began to get more difficult to manage. I was having to check in guests at 10pm on a Friday evening on top of my full-time role in Emmerdale and I decided to sell."

Previously discussing the downsides to life out on the water, the actor admitted: "When you've got a permanent mooring it's fine because you've got everything on tap.
"But when you're chugging about, you've got this low level anxiety of: 'How much water have I got left? Okay, I've got one shower and a couple of pots of tea. And then I've got enough electricity to last me half a day, so I've got to get to the next services but I haven't got time!"
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
