As Charity searches the village, she worries that Noah is beginning to regret his choices about the trial.

The troubled teen continues to stand trial over stalking Chloe Harris, pleading guilty to the charges after initially planning on a not-guilty plea.

Belle is surprised to discover that Noah has been hiding in the barn overnight and is scared about going to prison as he reveals his plan to run away to Ireland.

Noah opened up to Belle about his living situation with Charity and refused to continue living with her after she turned him over to the police. However, Belle tells him she believes she can convince the family to let him stay at the cottage so long as he follows his bail conditions.

"You need to pay the price," she tells Noah bluntly. "You come with me to the police station or you clear off and you're out on your own."

Meanwhile, Charity is upset over Noah's rejection and blamed herself for how she handled the stalking situation, leading her to lash out at boyfriend Mackenzie Boyd.

Noah is reluctantly allowed to stay at the cottage by Zak, Sam, Samson and Lydia, receiving a cold reception when Belle reveals she'd allowed him to stay.

"I suppose he better stay, but he better not cause any more trouble. He's here to face up to what he did, not slag off your mum," a stern Zak warns Noah, telling him that he'll be made to leave if he causes any trouble.

Elsewhere, Faith is reluctant to talk about her cancer diagnosis. She is flippant and tries to brush off the news, but Moira is insistent that she needs to open up to her family, who are becoming suspicious of her behaviour.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
