Emory & Henry College signs 10-year deal with Sodexo for facilities management

EMORY, Va. (WJHL) — Emory & Henry College has signed a ten-year agreement with Sodexo to provide facilities management services across campus, in addition to dining services it’s been providing the college for fifteen years.

A news release from Emory & Henry said the partnership will bring Sodexo’s facilities management program to campus at the start of spring.

Along with dining services, Sodexo will now be responsible for a wide range of facility-related functions at the Emory & Henry campus, according to the release.

“We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership with Sodexo brings to Emory & Henry,” said John W. Wells, president of Emory & Henry. “The seamless integration of dining and facilities management services ensures a holistic approach to enhancing our campus environment, contributing to our goals of recruitment and retention.”

According to Sodexo’s website, the facilities management program includes maintenance facets like plumbing, HVAC service, handyman jobs, pest control and more. Executives at Sodexo said in the release that they’re happy to help Emory & Henry’s campus life excel.
