Employers Health to add jobs amid headquarter expansion in Jackson Township
JACKSON TWP. – An expanding pharmacy benefits company moving into a new headquarters is also beefing up its local workforce.
The Ohio Department of Development recently approved an Employers Health project for tax credit assistance during a Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting, helping to pave the way for the company's move into a new building at Belden Center Plaza, 4655 Fulton Drive NW.
Construction on the facility is ongoing.

A more spacious headquarters will allow the company to add 23 jobs to its office, which presently has 35 employees, according to a news release from Team NEO, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, economic development group specializing in business growth and job creation, which is a partner with Employers Health.
Ray Hexamer, the Stark Economic Development Board president and chief executive officer, lauded the company's expansion effort.
"Employers Health not only contributes to growing Stark County's economy, but is a company that supports numerous charities and non-profits in our community," Hexamer said via the news release. "(The company) is a wonderful corporate citizen that we are lucky to have (here)."
The commercial property acquired by Employers Health sold via bankruptcy earlier this year and was divided into separate parcels.
According to the Stark County Auditor's Office website, the plaza building and 7.91-acre property was sold for $4.3 million on Feb. 9 to LD Belden Center LLC.
A phone message was left Thursday with Employers Health seeking comment.
