From the bride...Nik and I met at church about 6 years before our wedding and have been best friends ever since. Once he asked me to marry him, it had been a long time coming so we jumped right in. Our driving factor for the wedding was intimacy; both Nik and I wanted the wedding to be meaningful and peaceful.

We were very careful about who we invited and asked God to bless those who would come to our wedding. I was a Classics and Art History double major in college, so our venue was a product of that! Everything I chose really came back to how I wanted the night to feel like we had all been transported to a European garden in the big band era. And then, of course, we threw in a bunch of dinosaurs for good measure!

One of my two favorite parts of the day, was walking down the aisle to my two best friends, my fiancé and my dog! My other favorite was our toast with our families in the back room while Nik and I signed our marriage license with our pastor. Both of these moments made me feel like time had stopped and I could just soak in all of the blessings. I wasn’t even phased by my 15 pound dress!

It was a beautiful day with tons of mistakes and problems that didn’t matter in the end, because we were married and got to go home together!

From Kristina Adams Photography... Nik and Lindsey's wedding was endlessly romantic and pretty, but I also love that they had so many fun dinosaur accents included in the day! You'll see them on groom's socks, as the place card holders, there's a dinosaur made out of foliage, and bride and groom dinosaurs next to the cake!
