End of season: Get there before these Newport County eateries close for the winter

As fall closes in, Newport County’s seasonal restaurants and eateries prepare to close up shop for the season.

As the weather chills there is still time to get a steaming cup of your favorite clam chowder or if we're fortunate to be graced with unseasonable warmth grab that last waffle cone filled with your favorite scoop of ice cream.

Whatever your choice is, be sure to make a plan because these summer favorites won't be around for much longer.

Here’s a list of restaurants planning to close for the winter in case you’re hoping to catch one last taste of summer.
