Engine Damaged After Plane Crashes Into Baggage Carts on Chicago Runway

A China Airlines Cargo plane was damaged after it collided with baggage carts at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday, January 28, while taxiing during snowy weather.

Flight CI5240 from Taipei via Anchorage landed at Chicago O’Hare Airport at 5:10 am on January 28, according to flight tracking website FlightRadar24.

The airport reported delays on Friday as heavy lake-effect snow in the Chicago area caused challenging travel conditions.
